Oktoberfest Kitchen Maus

Dressed up the logo for my German food blog, The Kitchen Maus, for Oktoberfest.  Loved creating a little dirndl for her.  I'm going to have fun doing this for the different German holidays.

A deer version of "My Little Pony" for a friend's daughter.  She picked out the hair and eye colour.

Birthday Dog

Today is my Dad's birthday and since I'm always so bad at remembering to send out cards I just made him one instead.  There's a little family story behind the image about my Dad's dog, Carter.  This wonderful dog, who was not in the least agile due to a former medical condition, was able to snatch the turkey leg off the counter one Thanksgiving.  If I remember correctly, he was rather proud of himself and showed it to my Dad.

Working on making the inside of the orange.  Trying out different types - Classic Orange, Cara Cara (though I suppose it could also be a pink grapefruit) and Blood Orange.

I had to make an orange recently.  Fun!  Maybe it's time for a banana....
